Mickey - Dachshund/Pit mix!

Mickey is a very unique looking dog!  He looks almost like a blue Pit puppy but he is in fact full grown and has the long, low body of a Dachshund! He weighs about 14 lbs, 1-2 years old.  Mickey will have FHO surgery to repair a bad hip joint on Feb 8th.  We are hoping someone will fall in love with his cute face and offer to adopt him.  I'd be glad to go over all of the information about his surgery and aftercare and prognosis, which should be good.  His personality is as good as they come - sweet and loving and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes.   Neutered, heartworm negative, all shots. Eli the 3-legged Chow mix

This shy boy is a 45 lb chow mix born with a deformed front left leg. The leg will be amputated on Feb 11th. This sweet dog has obviously never been treated as a pet but he is coming around quickly. Lily the cruelty case rescue

Lily is a 10 month old Pit/Lab mix. She is the victim of cruelty and neglect; someone put a collar on her when she was young and never bothered to adjust it. The collar was so tight that the skin was forced to grow around it. Lily was so bad off when Dekalb County found her that the embedded collar had to be surgically removed, and he recovery time with us has been more than 6 weeks. She is now a healthy, happy pup in need of a loving home! Lily can play well with other dogs,and does enjoy other dogs, but we think she would do best as the only dog in the household.
